Not too long ago, the Landscape Photographer Bastian Schertel got his hands on a camera for the first time back in 2016. Since then, he has been capturing moments every day. He began with a Nikon D7100 and later switched to a Lumix G85. When he is not traveling the world as a photographer aboard a cruise ship, he enjoys hiking in the picturesque Alps, preserving those moments through his camera lens. His skill in visually documenting things has quickly led to several collaborations and sponsorships, including one with LUMIX/Panasonic.

OPENSKY is framed in a black wooden frame and the photography proves that our earth can also look like the moon – at least in Norway. The image shows a person surrounded by the ocean and mountains. Art piece number one of the limited edition of five found its new home in Cape Town, South Africa. This is number two which is hanging in the Villa Viva Guesthouse in Hamburg while it is waiting for you. 10% of your purchase goes to Viva con Agua water projects.
